An interesting mobile view on the world, there can be no doubt that the impact that mobile 'phone' technology has had on all aspects of managing a social life for significant numbers of people has been far stronger than anything laptops and email have achieved.

I loved the 'cyberspace should be something that pings you and you carry around' rather than 'a place you go when you open your computer' quote.

While the form factor of most phones is still really horrid they are getting better.

Does anyone know of a student who does not own a mobile phone?

I guess the same can also be said for the comparative impact of mobile phone technology on economic development.
