An interesting list of things to emerge - it would be very interesting to know what (sector and job) profile of group participants produced it.

I was recently struck by Neil Selwyn's 2008 challenge to the research community to focus on the "state-of-the-actual" rather than "state-of-the-art" (Technology, Pedagogy and Education Vol. 17, No. 2, July 2008, 83–87).

Distrust of 'magic bullet' messages about ILT seems to be flourishing in the cold climate.

The participants were mainly from FE colleges with a smattering from private training providers, academic research, and from agencies like JISC Advance. My guess is that they were mostly in tier two or tier three roles, and mainly with responsibility for ICT sustems and/or for technology in the curriculum.
